Terms governing SMS and text-message communications from Catera.
These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern text messages sent by or on behalf of Catera ("Catera," "we," "us," or "our") to mobile telephone numbers provided by customers, Drivers, applicants, users, and other individuals who interact with Catera.
By providing your mobile number and opting in to receive text messages from Catera, you agree to these SMS Terms. Your use of Catera's websites, applications, and services may also be governed by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Catera may use SMS or MMS messages to communicate information related to our services.
Depending on your relationship with Catera and the permissions you have provided, messages may include:
The types of messages you receive depend on the Catera services you use and the communications for which you have provided consent.
When you affirmatively opt in to a Catera SMS program, you authorize Catera and service providers acting on Catera's behalf to send text messages to the mobile number you provided.
Where required by law, your consent may include consent to receive messages sent using automated technology.
Consent to receive promotional or marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or using Catera's services.
Providing a telephone number to Catera does not by itself constitute consent to receive promotional marketing text messages where separate consent is legally required.
Message frequency varies.
The number of messages you receive will depend on factors such as:
During an active order or delivery, you may receive multiple operational messages related to that order.
Message and data rates may apply.
Your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages according to your mobile service plan.
Catera does not control carrier charges.
Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions regarding your text or data plan.
You may opt out of Catera text messages at any time.
Reply:

Where applicable, you may receive one final confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request.
You may also communicate a clear request to stop receiving text messages by contacting:
Catera will process valid opt-out and consent-revocation requests in accordance with applicable law.

For questions involving a specific Catera account, order, or Driver assignment, additional verification may be required before account information can be disclosed.
If you previously opted out and later wish to receive Catera text messages again, you must complete an available Catera opt-in process or otherwise provide valid renewed consent.
Catera must not treat unrelated account activity as automatic re-enrollment in optional promotional SMS programs.
Catera distinguishes between operational or transactional communications and promotional or marketing communications.
Transactional communications may relate to an action you requested or an active relationship with Catera, including an order, delivery, Driver assignment, application, account-security event, or support request.
Marketing communications may include promotions, special offers, announcements, or other promotional content.
Where applicable law requires separate consent for marketing text messages, Catera will obtain that consent before sending those messages.
Consent to marketing text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing or using Catera services.
By providing a mobile telephone number to Catera, you represent that you are the subscriber, account holder, customary user, or otherwise authorized to provide that number for the communications you request.
If your mobile number changes or is transferred to another person, please update your Catera account information or contact Catera so that communications intended for you are not sent to another individual.
SMS and MMS delivery depends on wireless networks, carriers, devices, and other systems outside Catera's control.
Messages may be delayed, filtered, blocked, or unavailable.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Catera does not guarantee that every text message will be delivered or received within a particular period of time.
Catera text messaging is intended for mobile devices and telephone numbers capable of receiving SMS or MMS communications.
Availability may vary by carrier, device, geographic area, and service plan.
Information collected or processed in connection with Catera SMS communications is handled in accordance with Catera's Privacy Policy.
